Who would think that it was nearly impossible to fit a tennis court on a 10 acre estate??? If only your customers could imagine the challenges that seemed insurmountable until you were engaged for this project. As we are nearing completion, I must list them because I can’t believe that your design and intuition allowed for such beauty amidst the following:
A 25’ drop in elevation in the area designated for the tennis court; An existing septic system and leaching field directly under the proposed new tennis court; Over 20 apple trees that had to be relocated to another part of the property; Miles of irrigation, electric and AC lines under the area that we excavated; The necessity to design and build a 122’ long, 8’ tall and 18 inch wide retaining wall; New AC, septic and irrigation systems, all relocated; A new service entrance for my groundskeeper, tennis court maintenance, garbage removal and AC folks, which included a successful application for a curb cut; Approval from Coastal Resources, DEM, and the town of Westerly in record time!
